Coastal ecosystems—coastal lands, areas of transitional waters, and near-shore marine areas—are among the most productive, yet highly threatened, systems in the world. We strongly believe in the sustainability of coastal belts. GEMS has implemented many projects in the coastal belts of Pakistan. GEMS portfolio of expertise and services supports government, industry, non-governmental organizations, and communities in pursuit of sustainable ecological coastal zones management/development. Our specialists work in partnership with local stakeholders to promote conservation and sustainable use of marine and coastal resources for the benefit of coastal communities. We have experience includes environmental baseline collections, impact assessments, and effective monitoring for coastal infrastructure along with new coastal ecological zones development.
